Kid Rock is set to be the Grand Marshal of tomorrow's Nashville Christmas Parade, but our very own Mayor David Briley may NOT be there.
This is on the heels of Kid Rock's controversial interview this morning on Fox News's Fox & Friends morning show. Attempting to make a statement about America being too politically correct, he finished the interview with:
I would say 'love everybody', except I'd say 'screw that Joy Behar b****
Kid Rock was selected as the grand marshal of this year's parade by a coalition of co-sponsors, including Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk, the Broadway bar of which he is a partner.
Mayor Briley's office hasn't made a final decision on his attendance, but a spokesman for the office said "If Kid Rock is still the grand marshal tomorrow, the mayor is inclined not to participate".
Kid Rock or no Kid Rock, however, the Parade supports a great cause - Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, and you'll see us floating by with our special guest performers Ashlee Simpson + Evan Ross!
No statement has been made by Parade Officials yet as to Kid Rock's participation tomorrow.
