Have you ever been eating a delicious scoop of ice cream and thought "man, this would be a whole lot better if there were some liquor in it?"
Well, good news you booze-hound...alcoholic ice cream is here!
Haagen-Dazs, who tested out the booze-infused treats in Canada a couple years ago, announced the U.S. launch of six new flavors of ice cream - that all include just a wee little bit of alcohol in them.
The six flavors...which all sound equally delicious....are
- Irish Cream Brownie
- Bourbon Vanilla Bean Truffle
- Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch
- Bourbon Praline Pecan
- Rum Tres Leches
- Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee (dairy-free)
But don't get TOO excited - it'd take a LOT of ice cream to get you drunk. The alcohol content is there...it's just super minimal...like 0.5%. But still...alcoholic ice cream sounds like a DREAM, and we'll be able to live it starting April 1st.
