One of Netflix's most popular shows of 2018 was The Haunting of Hill House - based on the 1959 novel of the same name. And as soon as we all got done binge-watching Season 1, everyone simultaneously asked the same question...WHEN IS SEASON 2?
But could there even be a second season? After all (no spoilers) but the way they closed the series pretty perfectly encapsulated the story and didn't leave very many loose ends left untied.
But, because Netflix loves us, a second season is coming!! Well, sort of.
The Haunting series will continue, from the same creator, in 2020, but in a new location. The Haunting of Bly Manor will hit Netflix next year, according to a tweet just a few hours ago.
So what is Bly Manor? Well, the series will be based on The Turn of the Screw, a novel written by Henry James in 1898 in which the governess of a London mansion becomes increasingly convinced that the house is haunted. So, similiar concept, new cast, NEW STUFF TO SCARE THE CRAP OUT OF YOU.
No other details have been released yet, but can 2020 just get here already!?!?
