Wanna Hike TN? June 1st Is The Day For You

It's no secret that one of the most awesome things about living in Tennessee is the plethora of AMAZING hiking trails, from Percy Warner to Cummins Falls to Davy Crockett State Park.

And if you love the IDEA of hiking but you're a little hesitant to trek out on your own, mark June 1st on your calendar.

June 1st is National Trails Day according to the National Hiking Association, and to celebrate the State of Tennessee is offering free guided hikes at every single one of its 56 state parks.

In the Nashville area alone, that includes beautiful hikes like Bledsoe Creek, Burgess Falls, Cummins Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Henry Horton Park, Radnor Lake, Rock Island, and dozens more.

Or, if you want to venture to the edges of the state, that of course includes breathtaking hikes along the Natchez Trace or through the Great Smoky Mountains.

There's hikes for all ages and skill levels - even toddler hikes in certain parks!

So, take a hike - enjoy Tennessee and all the awesome Instagram pics that come with it.
