Miniature Horses Are Now Considered Service Animals on Flights

If only Li'l Sebastian were around to see this!

Miniature horses are now cleared to be allowed on flights as service animals - along with dogs and cats.

The U.S. Department of Transportation said the following in an official statement:

“With respect to animal species, we indicated that we would focus our enforcement efforts on ensuring that the most commonly used service animals (dogs, cats, and miniature horses) are accepted for transport as service animals."

And yes...people have done it before.

So don't be alarmed if you're at BNA and see a HORSE at your gate...(personally I'll still be a little shocked).

No word on whether or not miniature horses are okay with this new rule.
