CBD Products have taken over retail shelves everywhere - from strip mall CBD Outlets to Walgreens. The cannabis-based products are legal remedies that offer relief for both physical and mental ailments, including arthritis, anxiety, depression, and even heart disease.
Now, another retail giant is getting into the CBD business - Goodlettsville-based Dollar General.
Dollar General will roll out 20 CBD-based items in over 1,100 stores around Tennessee and Kentucky, including cosmetics, creams, and bath bombs. They do not plan on selling edibles at this time.
The company's EVP and Chief Merchandising Officer, Jason Reiser, says “At Dollar General, the customer is at the center of all we do, and the addition of CBD items is an extension of our ongoing commitment to provide customers with a curated and affordable assortment of the products they seek."
