So What Exactly Is Opening At Nashville's Fifth + Broadway?

The giant Fifth + Broadway complex across from Bridgestone Arena has been under construction for seemingly an eternity, since they tore down the old Convention Center and unveiled plans for a new multi-purpose facility. Originally slated for a Fall 2020 opening, the COVID-19 pandemic pushed that back, but there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, and most of the complex will open on March 4th.

So what exactly is Fifth + Broadway? Well, it's sure to be somewhere that you see a ton of tourism. And it also might be where you hang out before or after shows at Bridgestone or the Ryman.

The $450 million development already houses the National Museum of African American Music, which opened just a couple of months ago. The next phase is a collection of 30 retail and dining outlets, including some Nashville staples opening up a new location.

Dining options include Cava, Hattie B's, Slim & Husky's Pizza, Shake Shack, Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, Le Macaron, Blanco Tacos + Tequila, and more. A mixture of local and national retailers such as Nash Collection, Ray-Ban, Free People, Sephora, and REVV highlight the shopping.

There's also an indoor "Assembly Food Hall" that boasts more dining options such as DeSano Pizzeria and Donut Distillery, among other. There's also a huge street-facing Apple Store in the works, but we have no idea at this point when it's going to open.

There will also be luxury apartments and offices opening at a later date, along with an upscale night club called the Twelve Thirty Club.

So what do you think? Are you excited to visit Fifth + Broadway? Or leave it for the out-of-towners?
