Elliston Place Soda Shop has been through the quite rollercoaster over the last few years. The iconic throwback diner on the Rock Block has been a staple for downtown workers, college students, and concertgoers for years. In 2019 it was bought by new owners with a plan to restore it, but then COVID hit and changed those plans.
After closing it's original location permanently, the new owners moved the restaurant next door and just re-opened TODAY with shiny new digs!!
Same amazing food and vibe...even better location. The owners installed a shiny new (old) Wurlitzer jukebox, swanky new chrome fixtures, and celebrity signatures. But the menu is still the same - good ol' southern cooking, ice cream sundaes, pies by the slice, flavored sodas, and even boozy milkshakes.
Look at how great it looks inside! It's open at 2105 Elliston Place Monday-Friday from 6am-8:30pm, Saturdays from 8am-9pm, and Sundays from 8am-3pm. And if you're a Belmont or Vandy student? Good news - Elliston Place Soda Shop is on your meal plan :)
