It looks like we're finally getting a Great Wolf Lodge in Tennesee!
The resort, which features a huge indoor water park, arcades, spas, and kids' activities, has locations in 16 states, but the closest one to us is in LaGrange, Georgia - just outside of Atlanta. That's about to change though, as officials have approved a Great Wolf Lodge location in Jackson, Tennessee...about an hour and a half west of Nashville (between Nashville and Memphis).
Originally, the Great Wolf Lodge project was announced back in February of 2020, but it was cut from the budget by the Jackson Chamber of Commerce due to COVID. However, with things opening back up, it's back in the budget and potentially set to being construction behind the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex, which sits just off I-40 in Jackson.
