You Can "Adopt" a Letter to Santa This Holiday Season

If you're looking for a new way to spread joy for the holiday season, five local post offices are participating in the USPS "Letters to Santa" program.

Every year, kids write thousands of letters to Santa at the North Pole. They obviously all get handled by USPS, who carefully sorts, scans, and posts the letters on their website (personal information redacted of course).

From there, you can "adopt" a letter or a family and send gifts through the Postal Service on behalf of the North Pole. That means you can help share the magic of Christmas with kids all around the country!

Now, it goes without saying that some kids are wanting things that might be outside your budget (iPhones, Apple Watches, etc.) but there are lots of kids with reasonable asks, and how cool would it be for them to get a package sent directly from Santa with EXACTLY what they asked for!?!?

In the Nashville area, five post offices are participating including the Church Street and Charlotte Ave locations downtown.
