Disney World is the happeist place on Earth, and if you've ever wanted to live there full-time, this might be your ticket.
Disney is about to start building actual housing communities, staffed by Disney cast members, for anyone who wants to be fully immersed in Disney culture all the time.
Each Storyliving community will include housing, a town center with shops and restaurants, a park, a lake with water sports, and "curated experiences" for residents, including entertainment and live shows. There will also be a segment of each community designed for those 55 and over.
The first one will be built in Palm Springs, California, near where Walt Disney himself once lived. Two other locations will be opened, although those haven't been decided on yet.
Would you live in a city that's owned by a corporation? I mean, Disney is great, but a Disney-owned city??? I'm not as sure. Either way, be on the lookout for more announcements about "Storyliving by Disney" in the coming months!
