Nashville has no shortage of great local breweries and taprooms - from Tailgate to Black Abbey to Hap & Harry's and Yazoo, we're a pretty great beer town that's about to get even better. Two breweries from nearby cities are set to open in Nashville in the coming months.
Good People Brewing Company - based in Birmingham, Alabama - will open up a craft beer bar in East Nashville's historic McGavock House in 2023.
The McGavock House is located just off Cleveland Street in East Nashville.
And if that's not enough, Asheville-based Hi-Wire Brewing will open what they describe as a "family-friendly" taproom in the Gulch sometime early next year as well.
The location at 810 Division Street will be located in the South Gulch near Party Fowl, and will feature family-friendly games like soccer pool, and ping pong. It will also allow leashed pets and visitors of all ages.
It's a good time to love beer!
