Nashville will make history in 2023 by being the first city in 17 years to host both the NHL Draft and the NHL Awards.
The National Hockey League announced today that both events will be held in Music City. The NHL Awards will be on June 26, 2023 and will honor the league's most valuable player (Hart Trophy), outstanding goaltender (Vezina Trophy), and many other individual accomplishments. Just a couple of days later, the NHL Draft will be held June 28-29 at Bridgestone Arena and will be televised on ESPN.

Nashville is the first city to host both events since Vancouver did so in 2006. It's the second time the NHL Draft has been here, with the first one being in 2003 when Bridgestone Arena was still called the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
There is no information at this time about ticket plans or events around the NHL Draft, but it is expected that fans will be able to purchase ticket packages to one or both events.
