Nashville was in the Top 20 cities for Amazon to build their headquarters, unfortunately they ended up choosing New York City & Northern Virginia..

Apparently we are still going to be home to an "east coast hub" that would add 5,000 corporate jobs to the city!
Amazon's new Operations Center of Excellence will be located at a 1 million-square-foot facility north of the Gulch in downtown Nashville. Apparently the Operations Center of Excellence will become the Eastern U.S. hub for the Retail Operations division!
