This absolutely breaks my heart and I'm ONLY sharing this story in hopes that other people will see this, be the change and STOP bullying.. We CAN'T keep losing our young ones like this.
This 9-year-old girl from Birmingham, Alabama who'd been bullied in school hanged herself Friday and died at the hospital Monday, according to an AL.com article.
Fourth grader Maddie Whitsett took her own life because people are SO MEAN. It's not okay to bully at this or ANY age for that matter.
Think before you speak, you never know what someone else is going through... If you see someone in distress, take the time to be their friend.. be the shoulder they can lean on.
