Now that Thanksgiving is officially over, we can finally start talking about CHRISTMAS!!
Actually, I want to talk about Christmas year round, but I'm trying to be respectful of the peeps who only allow it after Thanksgiving! LOL
Metro Nashville is having a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on November 30, at Public Square Park, from 6-7PM!
This year's ceremony will be a winter celebration featuring performances by:
- The Fisk Jubilee Singers
- Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church Choir
- Nashville Classical Pop Choir
- Isaiah T. Creswell Middle School of the Arts Choir
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local trucks!!
For this holiday event, they're also partnering with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office to collect toys for the Last Minute Toy Store. They're asking people to bring a new, unwrapped toy or other age-appropriate gift in the $10 – $25 price range for ages newborn to eighteen.
Make sure you bring the kiddos because there are appearances by Santa, Gnash, T-Rac, and Booster!!
GOOD NEWS ABOUT PARKING!
