Governor Bill Lee Confirms First Case Of Coronavirus In Tennessee

Tennessee Governor, Bill Lee, just confirmed the first case of Coronavirus in the state of Tennessee!

Reports are saying it is an adult male with recent out of state travel. The infected man resides in Williamson county.

Officials are saying that we remain at a low risk, but to make sure you have alcohol based hand sanitizer!

As of Thursday, the virus has infected about 93,000 people and killed nearly 3,200 according to the World Health Organization.

According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, only 11 people have died in the United States -- those deaths have occurred in California and Washington State.

The Governor is re-iterating that the gentleman infected with the virus has a very mild case, equating it to the flu.
