After the tragic death of George Floyd, thousands of people across the globe have mourned the pain of his loss of death and protested for change for change in police brutality against the black community.
In order to pay honor to George Floyd's life, some details about funeral and memorial services for George Floyd were announced, but without specific locations.
There will be two memorial services and one funeral happening.
A memorial service in Minneapolis, where the wrongful death took place, us planned for Thursday in Minneapolis from 1-3PM. Another memorial will be held in North Carolina, where George Floyd was born, is on Saturday from 1-3PM.
In Houston, where George Floyd spent a lot of his childhood and lived for years, a funeral is scheduled for 11AM on June 9th, with a burial to follow. A public viewing will be held the day prior.
More specific details regarding locations for the memorials and funeral are still to come.
Also, it's been reported that Floyd Mayweather has stepped up to cover the funeral expenses for the family of George Floyd.
