Nashville bar owners have been frustrated with Mayor John Cooper forcing them to close their doors to patrons. Starting today, August 17, new rules easing COVID-19 restrictions on bars in Nashville, go into effect!

Nashville bars will be allowed to re-open but must limit the capacity to only 25 patrons at a time. While continuing the mask mandate & social distancing giudelines.
According to News 2, multiple bar owners have told the news source that 'they're happy to get the ball rolling to reopening, but limiting capacity to only 25 people is not going to give them any profits.'
The mayor advised current public health orders will also remain in effect through at least Aug. 31.
