Could you imagine being about 45 feet down in the water and ALL OF A SUDDEN, everything goes completely black?!
Thats exactly what happened to Michael Packard, a commercial lobster diver, who was nearly eaten alive by a humpback whale! Packard said in local interviews that he was diving off the coast of Provincetown, Mass. when the whale suddenly scooped him him!
According to Packards' Facebook post, he is 'very bruised up but have no broken bones.'
He went on to say:
Hi everyone,I just want to clarify what happened to me today.I was lobster diving and A humpback whale tried to eat me.I was in his closed mouth for about 30 to 40 seconds before he rose to the surface and spit me out.I am very bruised up but have no broken bones.
I want to thank the Provincetown rescue squad for there caring and help.
