Have you ever removed your bandaid to check your wound and see if it's healed yet??
WELL, you no longer have to go through the pain on constantly ripping the sticky goop off your skin because scientists at the University of Bologna in Italy are developing a 'smart bandage' that will tell doctors how a wound is healing, without removing it!
Apparently the bandage has a sensor in it that lets doctors check the moisture levels under the bandage by transmitting the data wirelessly to an app on their smartphone!
When checking the healing status of a wound, moisture levels are a good indicator on it a wound has healed and taking bandages off makes the healing process take even longer!
