Elon Musk Brings Spike To 'SNL' Ratings

Elon Musk made his "Saturday Night Live" debut over the weekend and he made quite the splash.

There has been plenty of press surrounding his host duties, from the cast actively speaking out against his appearance on the show to how the "Gen Z hospital" sketch was the worst sketch in the history of the show's existence.

But despite the negative vibes surrounding the situation, "SNL" saw a bump in ratings during his episode. According to reports, the May 8th episode with Elon Musk as host and Miley Cyrus as musical guest drew a 4.7 household Live+Same Day rating in the 44 metered local markets and a 2.7 adults 18-29 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For all the normal people out there who have no clue what those numbers mean, they're higher than the last live episode they did (with Carey Mulligan and Kid Cudi) and that means the episode did pretty well!
