A Woman's Headstone Is Getting Attention Across The Country

Most gravestones have the typical engravings on it-- you know... a name, dates, and maybe a quote on it. Not for this woman from Utah!

Kathryn Andrews decided she wanted to put something different on her tombstone than what the average person does. She's very well known for her special fudge and she knew that it brought so many people happiness when she made it for them so she wanted to keep that happy thought alive.

On the back of her headstone she had "Kay's Fudge" recipe engraved. That way people could continue to make her fudge for themselves or to share with their loved ones.

Kay was 97-years-old when she died in 2019.

Her recipe is as follows: Melt two squares of chocolate and two tablespoons of butter on low heat. Then, one cup of milk should be stirred in and the mixture brought to a boil before adding three cups of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt.

All that's left to do is to "Pour on marble slab, cool and beat and eat.”
