McDonald's recently teamed up with the extremely popular k-pop group BTS to create a meal dedicated to them-- a ten piece nugget meal with special sauces, cajun and sweet chili flavors.
One fan got their hands on a BTS meal and realized one of the chicken nuggets had a strange shape. It looked exactly like the characters in the video game "Among Us." Instead of eating the delicious nugget, they decided to throw it up on eBay to see if anyone would buy it. The bid started at 99 cents and after 184 bids it ended at $99,997. The person who placed the almost $100k bid will receive the nugget frozen and sealed for freshness. The post also said they would throw in one of the sauces upon request.
Not sure if the person who bought it is a fan of BTS, "Among Us," or possibly both. One thing we do know is that they have a lot of disposable income because $99,997 is an insane amount of money to spend on a singular chicken nugget from McDonald's. I wonder if they'll eat it or display it somewhere in their house...
