Maxim has finally put their first Black woman at the top of their yearly Hot 100 list.
Teyana Taylor, known as a model, actress, choreographer, singer-songwriter, has been named Maxim's "Sexiest Woman Alive."
The pictures of her were taken by Gilles Bensimon and Teyana notes they were shot of her "as is." She captioned an Instagram post about the honor saying, "My hair wasn’t done for a 'shoot' because I planned on throwing on a wig and I didn’t have on any make up. But when I got there the legendary Gilles Bensimon said and I quote, 'Let’s shoot! I want you to stay in this…' I said, 'HUH?! Well let me at least start my make up.. ' As y’all can see I barely had any lashes left." She continues, "He says, 'no, my dear, this is pure.' And in regular Teyana Taylor fashion I said, 'okay, but look a b**ch doing her baby hairs.' I was like SO LET ME UNDERSTAND THIS...I WILL BE THE SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE IN SWEATS AND A SKULLY?"
Jennifer Lopez, Irina Shayk, Megan Thee Stallion, Eliza Gonzalez and Mia Kang also made Maxim’s “Hot 100” list this year.
