I just moved to Nashville a few months ago, but my boyfriend had to stay behind in New Jersey to finish up his job.
I made a promise to him that I wouldn't buy a puppy until he got here. Well, he got here last Friday and I had to prank him as a welcome home!
I reached out to our amazing listeners to see if anyone owned a baby piglet that I could borrow for a few days and it worked! You guys came through and we found our listener Tracey who breeds piglets. She agreed to let me borrow one of them for a few hours and I have to say that I fell in LOVE with this little gal. She was so cuddly and sweet. Everyone in the office were obsessed with her little oinks and how calm she was when you held her.
After a few hours at the office, I took her home and set up for the big prank. We cuddled on the couch and watched "Friends" as we awaited my boyfriend's arrival.
Everything went smoothly BUT it all quickly backfired. He loved the piglet. He totally believed that I adopted a piglet without him and he accepted her almost immediately. I felt HORRIBLE when I had to tell him it was all a joke. hearing him say "I'm daddy" as he cuddled her truly broke my heart. Bottom line, my boyfriend is fantastic and I'm a terrible person. Talk about a plot twist!
