A major congratulations is in order for Vanderbilt University and their top tier players who are going on to the MLB!

Yesterday was the start of the MLB Draft and Vandy showed up big time. They took 20% of the top ten picks for the third time in MLB draft history with two of their pitchers selected.

Jack Leiter was picked second overall in the first round by the Texas Rangers, becoming the seventh Commodore in program history to be taken in the top five, and Kumar Rocker is on his way to New York City as the Mets took him tenth overall.
