Some States Are Allowing iPhone Users To Add Their Photo ID To Apple Wallet

Photo IDs are needed for any and all major life events. When we lose our photo ID we go into straight panic mode because we know how important it is, but now that may be a thing of the past!

Apple announced on Wednesday that the Apple Wallet will start to not only carry your credit card information and your concert tickets but ALSO your license (in states that will allow it).

First states up are Arizona and Georgia, where you can start using the feature before anywhere else. Then Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah will follow.

This is a huge deal. Even TSA said that they will accept this form of ID at participating airports across the country to "enable a more seamless airport security screening experience for travelers."

No word yet on when these states and participating airports will start to take the new form of ID. Hopefully all the other states and airports will decide the same thing.
