America's Largest Candy Factory Get Hacked Right Before Halloween

Ferrara Candy, a factory known for producing some of the most popular candies, has been hacked.

The factory fell victim to a ransomware attack earlier this month and they're still recovering from it. The candymaker is responsible for 85% of candy making, including things like Laffy Taffy, Nerds, Fun Dip, and Branch's (who makes candy corn).

Luckily, the majority of the candy made for the Halloween season was already shipped out in August, but that didn't stop the candy corn haters from rejoicing online.
