According to data from 2021, which was a year filled with delays and cancellations, Delta is the smoothest running airline in the world.
When it comes to the World's Safest Airline, the title went to Air New Zealand "due to its excellent incident record, number of cockpit innovations, pilot training and very low fleet age."
These accomplishments come after crunching data from around 400 different airlines globally, which is a pretty amazing feat when you think of it like that.
