Klarna Lets Customers "Fill Up Now. Pay Later" For Gas

Gas across the county is consistently going up and people are struggling to pay for it. That's where Klarna comes in.

Klarna, an online service that allows you to pay for things in increments, now works at certain gas stations. Klarna's "Fill Up Now. Pay Later" program lets you get gas or snacks at Chevron and Texaco and split the cost over 6 weeks. You'll have to create a digital in-store card within the service’s official app to use the program.

The idea has mixed reactions as some believe this is predatory and that Klarna is forcing people into debt. Others are completely on board and support the company for seeing a need and creating a solution for people that may not have another option.
