East Tennessee Is Getting The World's Largest Tree House Resort

The Smoky Mountains are getting a new resort! And its themed.

The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort will offer all the amenities of modern resorts, but in treehouse-style accommodations. The 40 acre resort will sit close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and will include a slew of fun treehouse-like attributions like slides, escape hatches, swings, crank-down bunk beds, draw bridges, and drink chutes inside each treehouse. Two tree forts can also be connected by a drawbridge for groups.

The owners, Brian and Amanda Jensen, haven’t yet picked a set date for the grand opening They do hope to have some units available by the summer.
