Chris Rock getting slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars has actually brought him a lot of benefits.
Everyone knows about the slap that happened at the Oscars. In case you don't, here's the deets. Chris Rock was on stage when he cracked a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith that focused on her newly shaved head and "G.I. Jane". Will Smith didn't like that he was picking on his wife, walked on the stage, and open hand slapped Chris in the face. Jada has been very open about her battle with alopecia and her struggles with the recent decision to shave her hair.
As upsetting as that had to be for him, it's working to his favor with his upcoming tours. Tickets have jumped in price from $46 to $580 AND they've sold out.
At least he's getting something out of this!
