NFL Has Changed Their Overtime Rule

The NFL has approved a new rule concerning overtime.

The new rule would give both teams possession of the ball during overtime of playoff games. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news yesterday on his Twitter. Make note-- this rule doesn't count during the regular season.

This new rule comes after the Buffalo Bills’ postseason loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which occurred after Josh Allen never saw the field in overtime.

Many teams and fans are torn on how they feel about the rule change. The Colts and Eagles have been openly FOR it, while other teams have given other ideas like the Titans who proposed a two-point conversion needed for the win.
