Netflix's "Squid Game" was the show of the year last year. Everyone was highly invested in the outcome, despite being one of the more disturbing shows.
Now the director of the show, Hwang Dong-hyuk, has a new movie coming out that is deemed even "more violent" than "Squid Game." The movie, "Killing Old People Club," only has a 25-page treatment so far, but is said to be "another controversial film." He also joked that he may have to hide from old people for quite a while once it comes out.
No word on when the movie releases. He's also in the middle of working on season two of "Squid Game" and has quite the reputation to live up to. He hopes to have it done and have the show streaming on Netflix in 2024.
