Airbnb Is Going To Stop Giving Refunds For Covid

Starting on May 31st, Airbnb will no longer offer refunds to those who cancel their reservations due to Covid-19. The new rules do not apply to those in South Korea or China.

The news came as the company announced their employees will have a hybrid work schedule.

They were sure to let everyone know that there are still properties with listings that allow cancellation 5 days before the reservation and some that will allow cancellation 24-hours before the reservation for a full refund.

One of their competitors, Vrbo, will still offer refunds due to cancellations because of Covid-19.
