'Sharkcano'-- An Underwater Volcano Filled With Sharks-- Has Erupted

Kavachi Volcano is an underwater volcano that we've been watching since the 1930's. It recently erupted. Doesn't seem like a big deal until you learn that this particular volcano is home to different species of sharks and other crazy fish.

While the volcano was inactive, we were able to get in there to explore. That's when the Silky Shark, the Scalloped Hammerhead, and "populations of gelatinous animals" were found to be living inside what has been dubbed "Sarkcano."

These species have adapted to the temperatures around them. They can live in 100-degree water. WILD.

So now we essentially have this volcano in the ocean spewing out these mutant sharks. The assumption is that they'll go back inside, but it's still absolutely insane.

insane to think about.
