The iPhone 16 beta 5 has an update that will make some people happy and give others pure anxiety.
They're testing out adding the battery percentage back to the status bar... only this time it'll look slightly different. Instead of the percentage sitting to the left of the battery icon, it will now be inside the battery itself.
The feature will not be available for every iPhone though. The iPhone mini phones, the iPhone 11, and the iPhone XR will all be left out.
