TikTok user @squidward.tentacles posted to her account the story of how she massively messed up on her wedding invites. She accidentally used a link to a XXX website, instead of the link to her RSVP page.
"I got my wedding invitations in the mail today—super exciting. Except I made a very large mistake that I’m gonna share with you guys so other brides don’t make the same mistake, because I’m sure it’s super common," she said.
She explained that as she filled out the sample invite, she decided to used a "fun website" as a placeholder while she waited for her actual wedding website to be completed.
But that's not the only wrong URL on the invites!
She continued, "I forgot I put the Super 8 Motel as a placeholder, as well, until we figured out which hotels we were gonna block off … If you’re our guest, I promise I didn’t block rooms off at the Super 8 Motel. And if you’re my mom, I’m sorry. I will fix it."
Lesson learned... always proofread your invites before getting them made.
