Ronda Engelhardt is the first female scout hired by the Nashville Predators. She will be a North American amateur scout based out of Minnesota.
She was previously a U.S. women’s national team player and captain at the University of Minnesota in 2002-03 and most recently served as the head coach of the Premier Hockey Federation’s Minnesota Whitecaps. They won the Isobel Cup in 2019 under her leadership.
She was also an assistant hockey coach at Division III St. Thomas and the girls high school head coach at the Breck School in Minnesota.
Looks like this will be Engelhardt's side hustle! It was announced yesterday that she has signed for another two years with the Minnesota Whitecaps as head coach. Congrats to Ronda Engelhardt!
