Tinder Is Matching Singles With Adoptable Dogs For National Dog Week

National Dog Week goes from September 18-24th and with 70-percent of surveyed singles saying that having a dog in their profile photos helps them get more matches, Tinder has teamed up with multiple shelters to launch "Rescue Matches" to help get some dogs adopted.

Those with a profile on the app have the opportunity to add shelter dogs to their profile pictures, in an effort to find them their perfect match.

Members can go through available dogs and when they pick their favorite, they can upload a picture that will be filtered to add a photo of the dog and information about him/her.

Tinder partnered with five animal shelters: Wags & Walks in Los Angeles, 4 Paws Kiddo Rescue (L.A.), Animal Care Centers of NYC, Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago and Special Pals in Houston.

Even though National Dog Week ends tomorrow, these filters will be available until October 20th.
