Netflix recently announced the addition of an ad-supported version to their service. Users expressed their dismay with the idea, but these new details make it seem a lot better than we initially thought.
The new, cheaper subscription plan will have only four-minutes of commercials an hour. The typical primetime TV show on cable has around 23-minutes of ads.
They also capped spending by each company at $20-million so that they can avoid repetitive commercials.
They planned to have it up and running next month, but it looks like it's been pushed to the beginning of next year.
