Congrats to Wilson County natives, Eli Holbrook and Mary Cate Hedge on their Waffle House wedding!
Their love began when they met in high school in 2016. When Eli went off to be in the Marines, they would talk on the phone daily while he finished up his tour. When he returned to Tennessee from Japan, his first stateside meal was at Waffle House.
Fast forward to the happy couple planning their wedding, when Mary Cate felt she was getting more attention than the groom. She decided to surprise Eli with a wedding reception at his favorite restaurant... Waffle House.
