Not only is she a star in Orange is the New Black, but she's an LGBT rights activist! She's been making history left and right, becoming the first transgender person to be nominated for an Emmy Award (since 1990) and a Primetime Emmy Award in the acting category.
And now, she's making history again! She is now the first transgender woman to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan South Africa!
All I can say is YAS QUEEN! I'm so happy to see transgender people FINALLY getting some recognition. Never, ever be afraid to be who you are.
