Okay, so let me start by saying that I was one of the people completely disgusted and outraged when Logan Paul made the "I Found a Dead Body" video. And then he started trying to fix the situation and I was still annoyed, but it looks like he might ACTUALLY be trying now.
In his most recent YouTube video, Paul admits his ignorance and voices a desire to learn more about suicide. In the video, he meets with a representative from the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline who introduces him to Kevin Hines.
Seventeen years ago, Kevin attempted to end his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. As soon as his feet left the bridge, Hines regretted his decision. By some kind of miracle, Kevin survived and has been a HUGE advocate for suicide prevention and awareness ever since.
I am still angry at Logan for his heartless video, however it DOES look like he might be trying. I hope that he is actually seeing this as an important issue and not trying to use it to get himself back in the spotlight.
