New Indoor Water Park Opens in Nashville

Its been pretty dang cold in Nashville lately, but starting today, it will be a warm 84 degrees at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center every. single. day.

The new SoundWaves Water Park, which opened today, is an INDOOR park that features surfing, an activity pool, a 45.5 ft. slide,  rapid and lazy rivers, and so much more!

The park is only open to hotel guests that purchase water park admission. However, they are offering room-and-park discounts up to 40% to Davidson County residents so that they can enjoy the park too!

This isn't your everyday water park though, this is so much more than that! The water is heated and it has three levels full of infinity pools, kids areas, and restaurants.

We're in Music City, so its no surprise that music is a big part of the park. The main park area will feature new country while rides will feature specifically-tailored music. For example, the rapid-river and tubing rides will include fast, up-tempo music, while the lazy river will utilize slower, beachier music.

I could go on and on about the features at the park, but honestly, this is just something you'll have to experience first hand.

The outdoor portion of the park, Tidal Track Wave, will open in May 2019. The opening of the outdoor portion will complete the $90 million project.
