Elijah Sprague, of Alabama suffers from autism and cerebral palsy, but that doesn't stop him from being a normal teenage boy! So when it came to celebrating his 14th birthday, he knew exactly what he wanted - to celebrate at his favorite restaurant, Chick-fil-A!
As it turns out, Elijah's uncle happened to be the general manager of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Mobile. In hopes of making his nephew's birthday special, Walt Gilstrap got approval to open the store on a Sunday - something Chick-fil-A does NOT do.
On Sunday, January 13th, Elijah worked the drive-thru for about 40 cars filled with his friends. Afterwards, guests went inside the store to celebrate!
Following the party, Elijah's mother took to Facebook to thank everyone for coming out to celebrate!
