HQ Beercade on 2nd Ave. South is known for their pop-up experiences and overall amazing atmosphere. Ya know those pictures you see all over Instagram that have a "Don't Grow Up, It's A Trap" neon sign in them? Yeah..that's HQ!
Well, now they've launched their latest masterpiece - a Wizard of Oz pop up experience called "No Place Like Home: An Interactive Wizard of Oz Experience". The pop up, which is now open features photo ops, themed cocktails, and more! You'll have to get there soon though, 'cause it only runs through August 18th!
Let's dive a little deeper into what you can expect to see! Right as you walk in, you'll witness the tornado sweeping up Dorothy's house, animals, and other debris!
The bar will be filled with bubbles, flowers, and lollipops to take you straight into Munchkinland! Before reaching the Emerald City installation, you'll get a chance to meet the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion at the life-size apple tree!

Now on to the photo ops...Head upstairs and you'll be surrounded by 500 poppies, a yellow brick wall, crystal balls, brooms, witch hats, and more! Don't forget about the ruby slippers though! 100 slippers will be suspended from the ceiling!
Obviously, HQ is a bar, so you know they'll have an incredible menu of themed cocktails including the Emerald City, Ruby Slipper, Wicked Witch of the West, Liquid Courage, and Gin Man.
I can already tell that the Emerald City is going to be my favorite! It has green apple Skittle-infused vodka, lemon, fresh lemonade, and rock candy!
