Have you ever visited Krispy Kreme and thought "I want to make my own doughnut"? No? To be honest, I hadn't either, but now that I know it's an option, it's all I want to do!
Krispy Kreme recently opened a new store in Concord, N.C. that is unlike any of its others. This store offers DIY doughnuts, doughnut-infused ice cream, and milkshakes topped with doughnuts!
Let's start at the beginning and arguably the most exciting part - the customizeable doughnuts!
During the customization process, customers will have their choice of 5 different glazes, 10 toppings, and 5 drizzle flavors, making for over 200 combination possibilities!
Next up...doughnut infused ice cream! Yeah, you read that right.
The ice cream, which is infused with original glazed doughnut, is scooped and placed between two halves of a doughnut. And it gets even better 'cause you'll have your pick of Vanilla Sprinkled, Triple Chocolate, Cookies & Kreme, Vanilla Chip, Chocolaty Caramel Coconut (OMG!!), and Vanilla Fruity Crunch.
And last, but definitely not least...MILKSHAKES topped with a doughnut!
The hand-spun milkshakes come in five flavors - Vanilla Glazed, Double Chocolate, Salty Caramel, Classic Strawberry, and OREO Cookies & Kreme. Of course, the shakes are topped with a doughnut too because come on...its a doughnut shop!
So far, the Concord store is the only one to offer up these menu items, but with any luck, we can all hope to see more pop up in 2020!
