Everything We Know About the Friends Reunion Special

For YEARS, fans have been begging for some sort of Friends reunion and now its FINALLY happening! No, for real, its actually happening this time! The cast has even confirmed it! The special will be directed by Ben Winston and executive produced by the OG producers - Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane!

The six best friends are reuniting for a HBO Max exclusive, unscripted special. The special will be filmed on the exact same sound stage where the original series was filmed - Stage 24 at the Warner Brothers Studio Lot in Burbank.

The cast has begun teasing the release of the special on Instagram and they practically broke the internet!

Last year, fans were devastated by the news that the show was leaving Netflix. In a way, it was a blessing because now we not only get all 236 episodes of the show, but we also get a reunion special when HBO's new streaming service debuts in May....just in time for my birthday!

By the end of the series in 2004, the cast was making up to a million dollars PER episode. Now, they'll reportedly make $2.5 million EACH for the special.

As excited as I am for this reunion, I'm pretty sure Charlie Puth is more excited than anyone! Over the last few months, Charlie's obsession with the show has become extremely apparent. He even got quizzed by Courtney Cox!
